This rare example of the work of Bewsher & Fleetwood, sympathetically rebuilt by Hele of Plymouth and later restored by Harrison & Harrison Ltd, was removed by David Wells Organ Builders Ltd from its original home in St John’s Church, Egremont, Wallasey and installed in the north transept at St James’.
